FAQs

Get in touch via email or the contact form on my website. I can check if I have availability on your date, if I do then I’ll send all the information over to you via email for you to read through and take a look over. If you’ve got any questions or would like to have a chat on the phone let me know. Once your happy and wish to go ahead to get your date held in my diary we’d get the booking process started, you’d need to fill in a booking form and paid a £100 deposit to secure the date.

My diary opens two years in advance from January each year. Peak dates get booked up quickly so it’s never to early to get in Touch. Once you’ve secured your date with your wedding venue best to get booking your suppliers.

Trials usually take place around 2-3 months before your wedding. I’ll be in touch when it’s time to look at dates. Sometimes it maybe that the trial needs to take place before this or after this, that’s ok. Just ideally I say 2-3 months before as your plans should all be in place, your ideas hopefully won’t change too much and your skin type should be a true reflection of what it will be on the day. A trial is a good way for you get to see how the makeup will wear before the day. It also gives us chance to tweak anything we need to before the day. Also the option for a second trial if you wanted to try something different. I make a detailed list of notes and take photos after the trial so I can recreate your look on your wedding morning.

After your trial I’ll have more idea of timings for the day and will put together timing plan to help the bridal prep go as smooth as possible. I like 1-1.5 hours for bridal makeup and 30-45 mins per person for the bridal party. I’d recommend bridal makeup be done 2nd or 3rd from last in the order. I recommend that you’re ready around an hour before the ceremony so you can put dresses, have some photos before the ceremony and you also might need to meet the registrars.

I can accommodate up to 8 people on a wedding morning, this does depend on ceremony time though and if there’s a venue change on the morning. If timing is tight then I will suggest that we have a 2nd makeup artist. I have some trusted artists Ive worked with over the years and can see if any of them are free.

I am based in the West Midlands and travel throughout Shropshire, Staffordshire, Worcestershire, Warwickshire, Herefordshire, Gloucestershire and the Cotswolds. If your getting married further out please do get in touch as I may be able to accommodate your booking.

I’m often needed to go to two locations on wedding days as the wedding Venue access is limited. This isn’t an issue for me. I will factor enough time into the morning to pack away my kit and move over to the venue when we are allowed to access it. Then continue and finish makeups off at the venue.

Products I use in my kit include Charlotte Tilbury, Mac, DIOR, Hourglass, By Terry, Bobbi Brown, Tom Ford, Temptu, Nars & Benefit. I am not affiliated with any makeup brand, so this enables me to choose the best products from each brand. I’m Mac and Charlotte Tilbury Pro member and fully insured so you are in safe hands.

It’s not essential for everyone in your bridal party to have a trial. I’d recommend one if they’d like one, are very particular about how they wear their makeup or have any allergies.

Yes I offer Temptu airbrush makeup. On the trial we’d chat through and access if it’s suitable for your skin type and look you wish to achieve as it may not be. I have a kit full of traditional liquid Foundations too from Charlotte tilbury to Mac to name a few. So I’ve got everyone covered.

Bridal makeup including a trial starts from £250. This includes a trial before the day and individual lashes for the trial and wedding day.

Yes I offer a touch up service for after the ceremony, before the wedding breakfast and for before the evening guests arrive. If you’d like more information or would like to add this to your existing booking get in touch and I can provide a personalised quote.

I recommend anyone that’s got sensitive or allergy prone skin to have a trial before the wedding day. We can discuss in greater detail at the trial about what products or ingredients that maybe an issue for you and use alternatives. I myself have suffered with allergies over the years, so I have hands on experience with this.

As well as bridal make up I also offer event/occasion make up. Make up lessons for anyone wanting to improve their skills or learn how to creative something new. Also Makeup masterclasses for any pro Makeup artists that want to broaden their skill set.
I’ve worked in fashion and beauty photographic, catwalks, films, television and theatre make-up; in addition to special effects and body painting.

I have a selection of different brands in my kit so can caterer for anyone with a wish to only use only vegan and/or cruelty free products.
