Natural and Glowing

As worn by Sofia Richie at her wedding in April 2023 where Chanel’s celebrity makeup artist Pati Dubroff created a timeless natural glowing look.

This barely there look aims to create a fresh and natural look. Think enhancing your features without it appearing too heavy. Using a lip tint or oil finished this look perfectly.

In the lead up to your wedding, looking after your skin (by using the appropriate skincare and drinking enough water) is a must to help you achieve this natural barely their glowy skin look.

Hero products to create this look;

  • Emybrolisse Lait-Creme Concentre Multi-Purpose Moisturiser:
    The ultimate moisturising primer to use before you apply your foundation. To help smooth and plump your skin and give added illumination.
  • Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood flawless filter:
    Adding that glow from within. Very versatile product. Used by itself for just for an added glow or under your foundation. For even more glow you can even add a small amount to the top your cheekbones after applying your foundation.
  • Dior backstage glow face pallete in 001:
    Perfect for highlighting cheeks, adding a highlight to the inner corner of the eyes or using as eyeshadow.
  • Benetint Lip Stain & Liquid Blush Tint:
    The OG of tints, although in the bottle it may look very bright when applied and patted into your lips it gives a beautiful natural flushed tone with great staying power.

Expensive Luxe

Think red carpet glam. Polished, healthy looking skin, not too heavy. Usually paired with a flush of colour on the cheeks, soft matte tones used on the eyes. No harsh lines, liner smudged right by the lashes, individual lashes added just where needed to elongate the eyes. Finished with a neutral lipstick and naturally defined lips using a very slightly dark liner.

Hero products to create this look;

  • Dior Rosy glow blusher in Rosewood:
    You can’t go wrong with any of these beautiful shade but Rosewood has that luxury feeling about it.
  • Makeup By Mario Master Mattes Eyeshadow Palette:
    Great pallet with all the neutral matte tones you’ll ever need.
  • Charlotte Tilbury lipstick in Runway Royalty:
    Perfect nude rosy peach tone with a fresh dewy satin look. A perfect way to finish your makeup look.

Soft Smokey Eyes

Smoky eyes is a classic trend that remains at the forefront for 2024.

Neutral tones can work well as you can add the drama in a more natural way. If you’re feeling like you’d like to be a bit bolder you can try adding a touch of shimmer and sparkle. To elevate the look further either add individual lashes or a strip lash.

Hero products to create this look;

  • Tom Ford Eye Color Quad in Nude dip
    Beautiful cooler toned eyeshadow pallet that blend like a dream.
  • Stila Magnificent Metals Glitter & Glow Liquid Eyeshadow in Kitten Karma
    Add that sparkle to your look, use along the lashes over the top of an eye liner for just a tiny bit of added sparkle or apply all over the lid for a full glittery ball effect.
  • Sweed The Signature No Lash Lash
    Can be applied where needed and built up to create a fuller flutter.

Retro glam/Statement Lip

Statement lips are making a come back. With deep red and Berry tones being popular.
The Vintage style was huge within the industry around 10 years ago but as of 2024 parts of the retro glam vibe are making a come back. Mainly Focusing on the bold matte lips with an added eyeliner. Think Marilyn Monroe and Audrey Hepburn.

Hero products to create this look;

  • Mac Lip conditioner:
    The best product to prep and prime your lips ahead of lipstick application. Helps to banish dryness and moisturise your lips.
  • Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution in Love Liberty:
    Easy wearable matte lipstick from the queen of makeup Charlotte tilbury. Beautiful bold berry red shade.
  • Mac lipstick in Ruby woo:
    My go-to matte red lipstick. Perfect blue toned red for helping whiten the look of your teeth as well as adding a pop of colour.

It’s always important to consider how much makeup you usually wear and how you want to look on your wedding day. Regardless of trends you need to feel like the very best version of yourself, the most confident and beautiful you’ve ever felt.
